Jul. 11 2009 - Lay Ministry Training, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Heart of Hope Cancer Foundation at Calvary Baptist Church, 9333 Linwood Ave., Shreveport, LA. Speakers to include Rev. Michael A. Sep. 8 2009 - Speaker Series: Fighting Cancer in Your Kitchen, open to the public, 7 - 8:30 p.m., Kalli Campbell, RD, cancer nutrition specialist and Nutrition Manager at Cancer Treatment Center of America (CTCA) in Tulsa and Kenny Wagoner, executive chef at CTCA in Tulsa, team up to give you tips for simple, easy, meal preparation, using cancer-fighting nutrition. This free seminar will be held at Living Hope Fellowship, 2835 E. Division, Suite 1, Three Oaks Center, behind Buck Stove, in Springfield.
